Their ideology is based on the need to purify the oceans of human influence, seeing pollution and environmental destruction as evidence that humanity does not deserve to coexist with the sea. This philosophical conflict places Arion and Arthur on opposite sides, leading to epic underwater confrontations that combine magical energy with technology and Atlantis weaponry.
Timothée Chalamet brings a unique charisma to Arion, portraying him as a mysterious character, respectful of Arthur’s strength but determined to claim the throne at any cost. Tensions rise as Arion uses his magic to lift ancient submerged cities, claiming them as his own and endangering Atlantis’ sovereignty.
The film’s climax shows a spectacular confrontation between Arthur and Arion, featuring colossal sea creatures, ancestral ocean gods and breathtaking underwater landscapes.
